Chemistry stays on your device.

Chemistry Explorer is built for offline chemistry reference, calculation, and exploration. The app does not require an account and does not send your formulas, molecule searches, history, favorites, or keyboard input to a server.

Usage and diagnostics (optional)

Usage and diagnostics are on by default unless you turn them off in Settings. While enabled, Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics receive feature usage, paywall and purchase events, installation identifiers, app and device information, approximate region derived from network information, and crash reports. This helps us understand feature use, purchase problems and crashes. We do not collect IDFA or IDFV, set an account user ID, or use these reports for advertising. We do not send searches, SMILES, formulas, notes or keyboard input. You can turn sharing off in Settings to stop future collection; this does not delete reports already received by Firebase. Data is processed by Google and may be processed outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

On-device storage

Favorites, history, app settings, and purchase entitlement state may be stored locally on your device. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from iOS.

ChemKeys keyboard

ChemKeys does not request Full Access. It does not use the network, log keystrokes, or transmit text you type in other apps.

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Apple processes payment and subscription account information under Apple's own policies.
